Founded in November 2001, by Mark Martin, The Angel Card Project is an internet wide charity event designed to send greeting cards to those in need. The project started as a very small grassroots effort to reach a few indiviuals to let them know they were not forgotten. Supported solely by volunteers, the mission of "Sending Love, One Christmas card at a time" was formed. 

Our volunteers are the heart of the project. Without them we would not exist. From humble beginnings of 20 volunteers, over the years we have grown in to a large network with participants from many different countries.  In 2021, we saw our biggest year ever with 8,500 volunteers sending over 200,000 Christmas cards out. 

"We want every individual in need to know that they have purpose, they are cared about and they are loved. If we can reach just one person and leave a positive lasting influence in their life, then our mission has served it's purpose well."
