FAQ

Angel Card Project Christmas FAQs

Are there any requirements for sending cards?

Any one of any age can send cards. There are no set requirements for the

number of cards that each person has to send, the only requirement is to report

the total number of cards that have been sent via the link we will provide. We

recommend that you send at least 1 card and report how many cards have been

sent. It is up to you as to how many cards you send. You may send to a few or to

all of the recipients.

Signing up to volunteer or submitting names via phone.

If you are having trouble scrolling or seeing the entire form please turn your

phone sideways and it should scroll better for you to complete the form and

submit.

How do I know that my submission has been entered?

Once you hit submit on your form a page will come up and tell you that it was

received.

How to sign the cards?

Please sign your name in the card and any type of note you wish. PLEASE be

respectful. These cards are to bring cheer and joy, not sorrow.

Is it ok to send homemade cards?

Cards do not have to be handmade store bought cards are perfectly fine.

The Master List

The Master List is the compiled list of recipients that we will be sending

Christmas Cards to this year. For each request, there will be the person's name,

mailing address, gender, age and reason they are needing cards sent to them.

These have been vetted by the Admin Team. You may send as few or as many

on the master list as you wish. - And YES, every person receives cards.

Does everyone on The Master List Receive a card?

Yes, everyone receives at least one card. Usually they receive multiple cards.

We have more than one volunteer that sends to the entire list and by the magic

of Christmas it always works out.

Can we send gifts to the recipients?

This program is designed for cards. That is our main purpose. However, if you

want to put something else in the envelope that is fine with us. Examples of

things others have put in envelopes: prayers, jokes, puzzles pages, coloring

pages, recipes, pet photos, hand drawn pictures, etc. Please know the only

thing that is required from the Angel Card Project is Cards.

How would the recipient know that the card is coming from The Angel Card Project?

Please indicate on the envelope or in the card that The Angel Card Project is involved.

Can we hold onto The Master List and send cards during the year to recipients?

No. The recipients have given permission to only receive holiday cards. You

can check the FaceBook group during the year to send cards to individuals who

would like to receive cards for various reasons.

The Master List Links

The Master List of names link will only be EMAILED to all that have

REGISTERED as a volunteer who signed up through the Angel Card Project

website. You MUST register before the links can be sent.

The links for the master list will be given in three formats, a

MS Word document, RTF File, Excel Document and PDF document.

You will need to click on whichever format is best for you. Once you click on it the file will download to your computer, it is

RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DOWNLOAD IT TO YOUR DESKTOP TO FIND IT EASILY.

Then simply open the file and start reading.

If for some reason you are not able to get the file open or you do not have access

to those types of files you can request a Rich Text Format from the Admins.

If you have any problems with downloading the file, please send an email to

scutter4christ@gmail.com and describe the exact issue you are having with the

download and we will be able to help you.

Printing The Master List

You can print the master list but please keep in mind that the list will print on

greater than 20 pages.

A few things to remember about printing the list:

  • When you are done with the printout we ask that you shred the list for privacy issues.
  • You are not allowed to print the list and share with others for them to individually send cards. If they want to send cards, have them sign up as a volunteer.
  • Card parties are fine because you are working with the other volunteers in a group.
